Dino Defender Missions December 31, 2025

The "New Year, New Resolution" Challenge

Attention, Dino Defenders! We are entering a new year, which means it is time for a new mission.

In the human world, grown-ups call this a "New Year's Resolution." But for us, it is a Power-Up Plan. A resolution is simply a promise you make to yourself to learn a new skill, get stronger, or be kinder.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to pick one goal for this year and conquer it like a Spinosaurus conquering a river!

📂 Mission Briefing

Attention, Dino Defenders! We are entering a new year, which means it is time for a new mission.

In the human world, grown-ups call this a "New Year's Resolution." But for us, it is a Power-Up Plan. A resolution is simply a promise you make to yourself to learn a new skill, get stronger, or be kinder.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to pick one goal for this year and conquer it like a Spinosaurus conquering a river!

/// MISSION PROTOCOLS ///

STEP 01

Step 1: Choose Your Power-Up

Every dinosaur has a special strength. To pick your resolution, you need to decide what kind of Dino Power you want to build this year.

Choose one "Mission Path" below:

Path of the Raptor (Brain Power): Do you want to get smarter?

Your Resolution: "I will read one new book every month" or "I will learn the names of 5 new dinosaurs."

Path of the Gallimimus (Speed & Strength): Do you want to get faster or stronger?

Your Resolution: "I will practice running outside for 20 minutes a day" or "I will learn to do a monkey bar cross."

Path of the Maiasaura (Kindness): Do you want to be a better helper?

Your Resolution: "I will help set the table for dinner" or "I will share my toys with my siblings without being asked."
STEP 02

Step 2: The Plan

A resolution can feel like a giant tree. You can't eat the whole tree in one bite—even if you are a Brachiosaurus! You have to take small bites.

Once you pick your goal, break it down into mini-missions.

The Rule of Three: Try to do your new habit 3 times a week.

Don't Give Up: If you miss a day, that is okay! Dinosaurs tripped and fell all the time. The important part is getting back up and roaring again.
STEP 03

Step 3: Track Your Tracks

A good scientist records their data, and a good Dino Defender tracks their progress.

Ask your parents to help you print out a calendar or draw a chart. Every day that you work on your resolution, draw a Dino Footprint on that day.

The Goal: Try to make a trail of footprints that goes all the way across the month! Seeing your trackway grow will help you keep going.

🏆 Mission Debrief

Good luck, Defenders! Remember, the goal isn't to be perfect; the goal is to keep evolving and getting better.

Report back to headquarters (tell your parents!) when you have completed your first week of training.

Over and Out!
